The sale of Riverside Shore Rehabilitation Center has been finalized. According to Riverside Communications Director Peter Glagola, Riverside Health System and Smith Packett finalized the Purchase and Sale Agreement for Riverside Shore Rehabilitation Center.
As part of the sale process, Riverside filed information with the Office of the Virginia Attorney General to initiate the review of the sale.
A public meeting about this sale and how this facility will continue to provide important services to the residents of the Eastern Shore will be forthcoming.
Smith Packett will own the facility, Saber Healthcare Group, LLC will operate and manage the facility.
Saber is a premier operator of skilled nursing and assisted living and operates 105 facilities in six states, including twenty facilities in Virginia. http://www.saberhealth.com/communities_rds.
Riverside and Saber are targeting January 1, 2018 to transition ownership and management at Riverside Shore Rehabilitation Center.
“Riverside will continue to work closely with our team members to ensure a smooth transition of facility operations,” said Glagola. “Some of our residents have returned back to the facility and we are actively adding new residents to the center.”
